Here's a peek at our peak oil reserves. After we had the car and worked out a few of its quirks (like the motor not shutting off when we removed the ignition key), we were ready to start collecting oil from a local Japanese restaurant. Every Wednesday they set out a couple of these 5 gallon jugs for us to pick up. We bring it home and set it up against the side of the house, and wait for a Saturday so we can do some filtering.
