Strolling to my mailbox each afternoon is one of my favorite daily activities, especially if I find thoughtful notes, books, or money. Earlier last week, I unlocked my box to find a package with a book from Vincent Zhao. Vincent contacted me from China last year to obtain an interview for a book he was publishing called Fantasy+ 3: The Best Hand-painted Illustrations.
The book features 20 current fantasy illustrators that still paint traditionally. Apparently we're becoming noteworthy relics. : ) If you're a fan of Spectrum: The Best in Contemporary Fantastic Art then you'll want to get your hands on this little gem.
Each artist is showcased on 10 pages in full color, with interview questions sprinkled throughout the imagery. The other illustrators featured within this 200 page book are: Donato Giancola, Don Maitz, Volkan Baga, Brian Despain, Eric Fortune, Lucas Graciano, Petar Meseldzija, Peter Ferguson, Raul Cruz, Ron Spears, Shaun Tan, Steven Belledin, Tom Fowler, Eric Joyner, Ciruelo Cabral, Ralph Horsley, Greg Staples, Adrian Smith and Daren Bader. It's beautifully designed, with a fantastic selection of art. It's now available on Amazon if you like to get a copy.
Wonderful!

I need to get a copy of this book. Do you know if it's going to be distributed through Amazon?

Hi Jordi,
I'm trying to find out where it's available. It's suppose to be at http://www.cypi.net, but for some reason their site is up and down part of the time. If I get more answers related to this I'll post it here. Thank you!
